Challenge |
| OEM customer, Cold Jet, approached Western Technology with a safety issue regarding operation of their wand for Dry Ice Blast Equipment. Major problem was operator having to hold trigger for long periods of time which lead to claims of repetitive motion injuries by some operators. Western Technology suggested use of Ball & Chain. Secondary problem was safety related, requiring a special 3101 Toggle Boot built in different color to differentiate between the emergency switch and on/off switch. |

Solution |
| Western Technology worked with Cold Jet to design a ball & chain that could be integrated with their specific control circuit. In addition, Western Technology manufactured the toggle boot in a special, readily identifiable color. |

Results |
| Cold Jet was able to eliminate claims of operator injury from repetitive prolonged use by providing ball & chain. Cold Jet also reports accidental activation of machine has been greatly reduced due to color coding of toggle. |
