Product Said to Pose Inhalation and Fire Hazard
Cabot Composite Deck Cleaner #3502, a granular concentrate that, when mixed with water, is used to clean decks and railings has been voluntarily recalled, according to the manufacturer and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. In one incident, a component of the cleaner reacted with the metal foil residue on the package, releasing heat and chlorine gas, a fire and inhalation hazard.
