Once one battery dies, simply flip the toggle switch and it instantly starts using the 2nd Battery. Conveniently built with belt clips to attach to your person, allowing hands-free use.

Patented Contact Mechanism

The BODYlight™ and SIDEKICK™ have a patented contact mechanism (Patent No.: US-11469546-B2) that connects the light head to the 8910 Rechargeable Battery or Dual Battery Pack (manifold).

Safe for Shipping

The Western Technology 8910 Lithium-ion Battery Pack is certified to be safely transported by air, sea, rail, or roadways under Standard UN38.3: Transportation Testing for Lithium Batteries and Cells. The 8910 battery was repeatedly tested to extremes outside of the explosion-proof canister and passed all testing for Altitude Simulation, Thermal, Vibration, Shock, External Short Circuit, and Overcharge, confirming it to be fully safe and compliant for transportation. The full testing is documented in Intertek Report No.: 103190396CRT-002. With the 8910 battery further contained inside a certified explosion-proof canister, it gives even greater protection and confidence in the transportation safety provided by the Explosion Proof WT 8910 Battery Pack.
